Fake news, false accusations, a flimflam artist in the White House with racial and religious hatred, homophobia, xenophobia, and misogyny unleashed – and corporate, mainstream media still failing to provide a sane response.
The patriarchal hierarchy of abuse is not going down without a fight – but it is going down! Come to a town hall meeting on how community media can inform and inspire, and serve as a base for organizing and mobilizing in the midst of heightened political and economic crisis. We’ll also be talking about how WBAI ensures its ability to survive and serve.
Hear grassroots journalist Arun Gupta and members of WBAI’s Justice & Unity Campaign, the Local Station Board and the Pacifica National Board.
There will be plenty of time for questions and community discussion.
