GOT YOUR WBAI BALLOT?

Completed ballots must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by Tuesday, December 18.

WBAI is in crisis, but not in the same way that we’ve almost always been. Misleading information about finances, inexperienced program directing, the absence of innovation in fundraising, and suppression of dissent are threatening to destroy Pacifica from within.

Neither big lies, twisted truths, nor non-binding “pledges” should be allowed to muddy the waters. The Justice and Unity Campaign is determined that this station will NOT be sold away, sent to bankruptcy court or into receivership! Nor will we allow poor planning and poorer execution to offer dead silence on our airways when area communities most need us.

Vote now for the entire Justice & Unity slate, in the order recommended here.
(For more on how to complete your ballot, click here.)

  • If you donated at least $25 or volunteered 3 hours to WBAI between Sept. 13, 2011 and Sept. 13, 2012, you should have received your local board election ballot last month.
  • If you have not received or have lost your ballot, call the Election Services Corp. (toll-free) at 866-720-4357 anytime and request a replacement ballot. Also drop us a line at info@justiceunity.org.
  • If you don’t either get your ballot or hear from the Election Services Corp. within 2 days, send an email to the Local Election Supervisor, Teri Graham, at: electionswbai@pacifica.org and the National Election Supervisor, Terry Bouricius, at: elections@pacifica.org.

FUNDS URGENTLY NEEDED

We urgently need donations to defray the large costs of our mailing to give WBAI’s 16,000 voters the facts. As you are able, please make checks out to “Justice and Unity Campaign” and send to:
